WHY SMRT BUSES NO TV??

  You have to know what are the priorities for SMRT.
  Profit First,Shareholders First.
  As installing a TV set on board SMRT's buses can't help them generate more profit,furthermore ,it only benefit on passengers,not shareholders.Thus,till now no tvs can be seen.

  If got the TV mobile, pple complain because they are unable to catch a nap & don't have also complain because boring...just a suggestion, if you want some entertainment, just bring your own portable DVD player

  Yeah but remember to bring own earphones if so. I think the only reason i dont hate SMRT so much is because at least they didnt do TV Mobile. TV Mobile may be "interesting" but its annoying and i cant hear the engine sounds.

  because SMRT buses very fast. hence you dont even need a TV to entertain you. the bus speed itself will entertain you.

  I agree with your point too. I only could record engine sounds if there is no Mobile TV.
  
  Sometimes, I do find Mobile TV useful. The other day I was on SBS 2633L on Service 8. My eyes came upon a news about an earthquake in Thailand (hence termed 'breaking news' by some people).
  
  But if you want your own entertainment, bring along your portable TV instead!

  Erh...No thanks ! I dont really like TVMobile . SMRT being TVMobile-less , allows me to have a nap on the bus . So far, i havent gotten any nice nap on a SBST bus that has a TVMobile installed, partly due to the TV's volume .

  I find it irritating at the same time. Not everyone wants to watch TV Mobile. Only time I rely on TV Mobile is to watch NDP out of the house

  i don't really like tvmobile too, not really much to watch, but i prefer not to nap, because later all alight already you never alight.

  Theres this couple i saw on 168 , they both sleep together . Then all alighting they still sleeping with mouth open . My dad have to call them up sia . What a joke .

  wow . but really with tvmobile = complain, don't have = complain. with tvmobile = can watch but people want nap. no tvmobile = cannot watch, people grumble but people can sleep. if only short trip nap later they find theirselves in the interchange/terminal. worse if they take 32/45/48/56/74/75/77/91/95/106/107/130/145/162/171/186/191/195/700/960/970. if they nap and then the BC forget double check whether got anymore passengers (people who nap sometimes tends to be unable to be seen) then drive into the terminal/interchange/bus depot then the passenger wakes up and find himself/herself in a restricted bus area.

  som more the bus already so noisy(most of SBS) still got the talking from the tv, aiyo...

  Once happened to me but different account. I left my wallet on the bus and realised it as the bus was leaving for busparking area. I go to the buspark and ask the drivers there. Luckily, I know the plate number and it's TIB1225S. I went with the driver and retrieved my wallet.
  
  Well, I was boarding a Scania NAC at Shenton Way on 186 where I found this young 9-year old kid sleeping and he was not at the boarding point (Shenton Way Terminal exit). He overslept and missed his busstop and I told him where he was going and he replied that he want to go to somewhere in Little India and he knows his way. So, i left him alone and disembark at Tanjong Pagar.

  Just like the C751B MRTs. Now, no more LCD tv in both SMRT Bus and trains. Those TVs aren't neccesasry
