  Hahaha. Well, DDs are now very common for interstate express buses. I believe CityLiner has 2 such buses. Actually, it is not used within KL city itself. The bus is deployed on route 710, a semi-express service from Kuala Lumpur to Port Klang, a journey of about 1.5 hours. This route was formerly run by Klang-Banting, a subsidiary of Nadicorp, the owner of Transnasional. The bus used is the Scania K124 6x2 420, with Badanbas bodywork.

  Ah...the KL Hop On-Hop Off. I haven't seen it yet, actually. This bus is a Scania K94 4x2 310 with SKS bodywork.

  If they have ah, they would choose the bodywork used on ASU1, they would use some CDGE bodywork.

  Can be public ma.. Cos it is not a private bus as it open to the public to take the bus by buying the tickets..

  That's not even 4.4 meters. A full-fledged DD is 4.4 meters. That Scania is only 4 meters or 3.8 meters only.

  The Scania is what is called as a low bridge double-decker. As the name implies, it is designed to pass through low bridges which is impassable to normal double-deckers. I guess the company isn't ready to take the risk on such an expensive machinery by building it as a high bridge DD.

  this concept of low bridge decker is most applicable in Hong Kong. i read books where they really point out n differentiate the bus is lower in height
