But since they love stuffing HabourFront with their version of Fast Forward routes, they should consider withdrawing route 854E and introduce route 855E . -

no... there is occasional massive jam along commonwealth ave west during morning peak, from the junction w toh tuck to clementi ave 6. worse case can jam up to tradehub21. can take up to 20min to travel this short stretch. but this jam usually onli occur for a short timeframe, ard 8.30 -8.40 if i'm not wrong.Originally posted by patdog112:tis express service dun look very fast
smrt can't possible give up the winding stretch in gombak n bt batok n toh guan, it's a cash cow. 188's route seems very winding n long, but it's very hard to find faster alternatives BY BUS frm any pt to another along its route. -

985 should be express if it was based on your definition

Not about how long a service can go.
985 saves 10 min (Kallang-BB)
190 takes 20min (Orc-BP) MRT takes 45(plus LRT)
188E saves at least 10min. Not stoppin at certain stops durin peak saves a lot of timeit travel down the whole stretch of PIE...
comparing 985 with 506 is dumb.
so what if 506 travels the whole stretch? so? -

They should cut off Clementi Road stretch, or else it looks meaningless, go straight on AYE to Alexandra Road and then turn out towards Telok Blangah Road.
