however they do allow this in Australia. =X
in hong kong at best they get a driver and bring u round the depot on joyride

hahah i myself only play doors once iwas invited to depot visit that kind of stuff.
got a thrill la. but got so many people rushing in n out of the bus (CNG B10BLE) i almost kiap fellow bus mate.
advice is play must be careful also. watch mirror.
i got into the driving seats of a few buses but with engines off. posed for pics also. i "drove" B10BLE CNg, Lo2x and dennis lance CSS before. in All cases permission given to do so n take pics.
depot visits is not very often. u have to write in ask permission etc. and all within their jurisdiction. depot visit culture in SG is just catching on.i'm sure the bus depots will organize more such public visits in due future.
obviously one must exercise care and caution not just got zipping round the depot excited about bus X and bus Y then zoom round the bus play its controls. objects of fascination must be treated with fascination yes but not in way that can damage it. or give the organizers a big bleeding headache when u break an expensive equipment in the poor bus.
definitely people running bout the bus also give me headache.it confirm gives the orgnisers headache if they see this bunch of young adults running round circles a bus.

When it was the roving bus, they placed air-con compressors at the back of the bus. The compressors faced the emergency exit. So when the bus was parked for exhibition, the emergency exit would be open to let air in/out to the air-con compressors!
The floor was also totally covered with all windows covered.
There was also a fake wall at the back of the bus. Behind the wall was the A/C compressors.
But then now the bus looks normal!
