171 is too long. Goes by the traditional Bukit Timah Route, 1 hour to reach Bukit Panjang. -
Senja or Bangkit , its fine to take 700 . I suppose you would rather have a 7 min walk to Bangkit rather than waiting for 190 and waste 15mins . The only thing that holds people back from taking 700 is its bad freq . 171 , like most people say , is way too long to take . *Edit : Not only that, 171 freq is bad also .
But still , i would really hope that BP bus svc would improve . 966 , 970 are some examples that require alot of improvements . I waited 40mins for 966 the last time . -

700 route is ok....... it oni goes through the same express way as 190 oni the small stretch of BT road..
i rather walk abit home if i could board a bus earlier and maybe have a place to sit...
700 u can alight in pending LRT and walk to bangkit LRT.... as for senja lrt u need to walk the same distance both for 700 or 190
but the funny thing now is that
when 700 come in ochard i was shock that nobody board from my stop ( taka ) when 190 come many people juz chiong and board 190.. in the end when 190 leave bp area the bus wasnt even half full..
sometimes 700 arrive first nobody wan to board it.. in this way how will smrt improve the frequency for 700? during peak hours there is even nobody standing in 700 rig bus
966 really have ways to improve in peak hrs.. -

Today's DAF on 190
are TIB 679A and TIB 720M.
TIB 720M from CCK travelled off service to Scotts Rd to downroute back to CCK
at 11am. -

here is what i know and remembered,
on the takeover days, 189 shifted its berth to the current 941 berth.
but it was a real challenge i must say
that is why when 189 had its bendies again this year, they had to switch to the saw-toothed berth...
