Well. I remembered this 913 bus (TIB1187X) got stuck at WDL Checkpoint Viaduct and have to go off-service and plied a long way from WDL Checkpoint to Kranji Turf Club and head back Woodland Interchange from there. 911 same story. It cut's through the back of Woodland's Centre Road and turns to Admiralty Road and BC put bus off-service. I was at the Woodland PArk Busstop and this white uniformed SMRT personnel at bus-stop ask me where to go. I say MArsiling Rise and he flaged down 911 bus. The bus went off-service and I, with another girl ride till my destination. BC let us off and he drove back to interchange.
Sometimes. NDP 2007 at MArina will be a good example. MAny people flock to Marina to hangout but, with NE Show and a couple more reherseals to go, traffic is going slow and you could be stuck there for hours and hours. Services to be affected are 97, 7, 10, 196, 960, 961, 80 and all Marina Centre-bound services.

48 fare stages is a joke for most part of the route...bus stops after cck minus tengah airbase,LCK camps and sungei gedong camp bus stops are as good as non-existant and as good as express svc to LCK end/jetty/port with normal fares....Originally posted by patdog112:but most LCK busstop is deserted...

Well, could be possible. If 36, most common. Well, 989 is one long service and if you want to ride an air-con bus for a long time, 989 is the choice but now, dun know. I think 989 reached Changi Airport in 2 hours and whole loop trip takes 4 - 5 hours!

I was a loyal supporter of 989, took every perm buses they had, including some of which transfered out to other depots from KJ, like 479K, now at AM.
Needless to say, the entire full loop, took me roughly 3 hours 45 minutes (539X, with full octane, crazy chinese BC who keep talking and laughing to himself), 4 hours and 15 minutes (547Y, slow and steady)...
5 hours unless got jam lah...
Some of those perm buses include 432U, 479K, 520Z, 521X, 539X, 543H, 547Y, 600B, 611U, 792E (only CAC), X over from other services include Hinos and DAFs, others cannot remember liao... -

They have a toilet inside a corridor, only acessible for Airport Staff.
