how to go to jalan kayu from hougang interchange?

  Take Sv 72 where the bus stop is located next to Hg Int to Yio Chu Kang after it turned from Hougang Ave 9.
  
  After that transfer to Sv103/103W

  Simple. Take bus 101 to Serangoon and transfer to 103/103W. The other way is take 89 or 161 to Compass Point and take 86 till the old Jalan Kayu Terminal. Transfer to 103/103W

  It is much more faster for you to take 72 and transfer to 103/103W after it turns out from hougang Ave 9. Pointless to go to Serangoon Interchange and back as you are turning one big round.
  
  if you dont mind, take Svc 87(faster) or 80 to Sengkang and transfer to Sengkang LRT WEST LOOP and alight at Thanggam Stn and you walk over.

  i took a bus to SK interchange before changing to 86.
  the journey was very short, shorter than I'd expected but the waiting time for the bus took like forever!

  so if he take SV 86, then why still need to go change at Old Jalan Kayu Terminal? unless, u r telling me that SV 86 is skipping the few bus stops near the prata shop?
