so what are the safe number to carry in each public buses?
and the ratio 3 children = 2 adults ? still valid?
and if buses removed chair, did they inform LTA of the new bus capacity?
and like some SMRT buses, their seat arrangement in between chair the space too close. knee touching the back of the chair in front.
who monitor?
for private buses, if ROV spotted them, each standing passenger = FINE S$50.00
what penalty for private buses without AWC logo? last time still have some with PT logo? what happen?
The AWC and PT logos have a meaning. AWC and PT logos still exist.
AWC-Adult Workers Contract, meaning, buses that have been allowed to operate as factory buses.
PT-Public Transport, meaning private bus that can be used as a public bus, ie scheme 'B'.
As for the owner/company details, ie:
SINGAPORE BUS SERVICES (197

LTD
205 BRADDELL RD, SINGAPORE 2057
and then the tyre size, MLW, ULW and capcity
and other examples, I suppose they now allow buses to just put EXCURSION BUS, PTE HIRE BUS, PRIVATE BUS, SCHOOL BUS on them, without owner's or company details.
However, for busesgoing into Malaysia, the owner's or company's detail must be there, ie:
SBS TRANSIT LTD
205, BRADDELL RD, SINGAPORE 579701
then the laden weight and capacity
For excursion buses, worker's transport, they are required to put BAS PERSIARAN, BAS PERKEJA
