Here is how this service evolved:
Sv 860 was introduced by TIBS between Sengkang and Hougang South Int.
When more people moved to Sengkang, TIBS decided to extend 860 to World Trade Center Terminal and renumbered it as 865
Then, SBS takes over 865, together with 82, 864, 866.
SBS then operated 865 until they decided to renumber it as 85. 864 and 84 merged to form 80. 866 became 86.
Sv 85 withdrawn 1 month plus after NEL opened.
Due to complains, a new 119 is formed, following the route of 85 until Kovan.
Edit : 860 did not terminate in Hougang South Interchange from what i know. it just made a loop along Hougang St 21. 119 is almost like 860 but the difference was that it plied less of Sengkang Town as compared to 860.
