I don't think China would have good quality buses(even products),
especially the one which only copies Neoplan buses' design but not Neoplan's quality. -

Anyway, I don't think any potential buyers will visit this forum. And SMRT/SBST would have had a good idea what they want to buy for the next 20 years down the road, they wont look at such things. -

If someone wants to advertise, he or she should approach Jason and book an advertistment. Because if such advertisement is allowed, then it is not fair for other advertisers who pay for their advertisements. Also this is not a place whereby people trade buses, but where people talk about buses, more specifically public buses. -

i wonder if these china-made buses can withstand tough working conditions for city buses in singapore such as
- made to work abt 18hrs per day (some buses got to continue into the NightRider/NiteOwl shifts too!)
- can it withstand warm & humid climates like spore? Worse still, due to the climate, AC got to work extra hard and frequent opening of doors would further decrease AC performance capacity.
- frequent start & stop road conditions as there are many bus-stops & traffic lights. hence need powerful acceleration capabilities and engine should not be prone to overheating easily
- availability of bus spare parts over the next 2 decades? is it easily available, affordable and the indent duration?
- some engines are not economical for maintenance. maybe one part spoilt, got to change entire thing.
- flexibility of bus chassis design which may affect the design of bodywork
- compliant to our bus operators & authorities demands & requirements?
- fuel efficiency?
- anything else? -

Basically the Malaysian operator choose Chinese buses with European/Japanese engines.Well for the side mirror it because of the brush at auto bus washing machine.
