Which bus in the service is the best maintained?

52 used to have MKII, which i think is not suitable, what i find weird was all the new bishan services (52,57,58,59) all have MKII during the start, now 52 is quite a good one. SBS 2801T is good, but i will not really like it, this bus is the bus on 162 which breakdown easily, good thing about SBS 2801T is that this bus comes 5-7 mins right after SBS 2800X, but after this bus goes, SBS 2802R will come 20-30 mins later, pathetic frequency. SBS 2804K is one of the best. If you do not manage to take it, try SBS 2799S, another good bus, but i think it has vandalism on it. if you take 162, avoid SBS 2808A and SBS 2715J. SBS 2808A, if i remember, has alot of vandalism, SBS 2715J gears up very different and is much slowerOriginally posted by Donavan:SL 52/AM 52, both seem ok. I still remember the horror buses SBS 1708 L and SBS 1717 K. Not weird, not enough SPs, deploy MK IIs lol. SBS 2801 T to me was average.

I still remember the bus with the IDD ad. Apparently, that one was really dirty. What was intended to be an eye-catching advertisement apparently failed. That bus is a rather dirty one. Hmmm, perhaps my few cents.
Best-maintained? I find SBS 9815 H rather well-maintained from BR 143 (former fleet, when the B9TLs were still out)
The CNGs seem to be pretty well-maintained. A pity, however, is the difficulty in having to sweep the floor of tickets, it's difficult to sweep some areas, and hence the HUGE amount of litter.
Look out for SBS 2817 Z from HG 105. Interestingly maintained. Seats look good, exterior and driver cabin look good, but the interior advertisements are peeling away. -

Well-maintained bus for my service (913), i should compare TIB726Y with TIB1187. Look out for SBS7476R on 161. The cleanest bus on 161 in the exterior and interior.

Try out SBS2670D(HG 82)
This bus can accelerate fast and the Air-con is strong. Even with those slow BCs driving that bus, it won't make me feel the bus that they are driving is slow.

The bus acceleration and the engine sound is smooth and normal -
if you take SBS 2715J, you will feel that it has a different gearbox, gears are higher than normal DM3500s, but it gears up in slow acceleration, the acceleration is deteriorating, that's why it can't overtake other buses. think maybe it has undergone gearbox changes? SBS7476R is too new lah dey,Still havent change engine oil/Top up AC gas etc. -

TIB1181L for Svc. 900/901
Repanelled when it was MIA for about a month. The plastics are still sparkling white unlike other Volgren Bendies which became grey. The only thing is that this seems to be the only Svc. 900 bus which broke down in 2006 and the issue is not really fixed properly. And if you are afraid of speeds this really isn't the bus to go to. This bus is driven by chiongster BCs
TIB1240A for Svc. 811
The bus quite clean, but since I only have taken a few of the AMDEP buses I am not really sure that is this the best -
IMO, most buses are about the same. Except really dirty ones.

agreed. take for example, on Service 162, i'll say SBS 2804K is the best because its acceleration is good, good aircon, no vandalism, even the exterior is clean. can see the essomobil ads properly. Solid braking: SBS 542 D (SL 334)
Can try SBS 9053 P (former Vivocity ad bus, now an in-house ad) for SL 97. Stable.
How's SBS 2788 Z of SL 105? -
