BKE JAM, WOODLANDS CHKPT JAM... yes, capslock by SMRT

Have you seen these messages?
It can be seen on the red 'LED next stop info' in the interior of the SMRT buses.
Saw one displayin "WOODLANDS CHKPT JAM" on 903. UPPER CASE.
but as the bus approached the chkpt area, the msg disappeared as the jam started to clear.
In my opinion, its useful on board services like 190 and WDL feeders and the semi-express routes.
No flamming please.
the most common of course is the "Pls move to the rear"
there's also the "BUS BREAKDOWN, PLS ALIGHT"
and VO told me about the..."Welcome to the new AMK int" -

I believe the system is controlled by SMRT's own OCC. Hence providing real time updates during basic service timings.
OT abit, I wonder why some KJ/AMDEP and all WLDEP Habits are not fitted with the LED display. -

useful when my 190 is in bukit panjang then it show BKE/PIE jam i can alight and take 171

And for yesterday (Saturday), i was onboard TIB636Z of Service 75 from Esplanade, and the LED showed "RAFFLES AVE BS SKIP"...

It will be interesting to explore whether the EDS can be controlled as well. Since such messages also useful for display at the exterior.

I saw TIB 1194A displaying "WLD CHECKPOINT JAM".
It's a neat feature though. -
What about displaying "Thank you for travelling with SMRT" at the last station of the bus route

However, has there been mistakes in the messages so far? Like false reporting of a jam, say for example, at Somerset. -

There is a difference between the new and old ones, old ones the sign is separated into different segments, one digit or letter will take one segment. Also old ones are smaller.
