Accident or Breakdown Thread (Jul - Sep 2007)

Just now (8.15pm) at BNL, BC (Ex- perm SBS 340U BC) complained SBS 9121B having air con problem. The green shirt man take a device and plug into some of the aircon outlet and check the temperature. Later, they concluded that the aircon is having some problem and so the BC drove back the bus back to SL. Not sure whether there are any bus replacement. By the way, the queue for Svc 242 was super long, making the queue form a 3 round line.

SBS1791U of svc 325 brokedown on 28/7 at ard 11.15pm along Hougang Ave 2 bus-stop; after junction of Upp Sgoon Rd.

Edit : Should have gone the wrong way ! I checked the bus guide , 69 does not go onto any expressway . Poor pax have to stand under the drizzle . -

The thing with this forum is that some people just make a big hoo-ha whenever there is a wrong rego or service. They either go beating around the bush before someone gives the correct one, or highlight the correct regos in bold, which doesn't seem very polite. -

I once mistaken 980 for 960 . So the 8 and 6 i tend to get confused . Apologies for any confusion caused . -

SBS534C (AM 57) got into an accident some where this week.
The front part of the bus plus the front door were severely damaged. Even one of the exit door have fallen off as well.
not sure where/when/how it got into this accident.
Bus was seen parking at AMDEP with the damage front. . -
SBS201M(238 BRBP) breakdown on 29/07/07 at around 3pm opp Toa Payoh Polyclinic.

-A Habit seen broken down with engine cover open near Clementi .
-TIB1209S seen broken down* near clark quay/ China town . Seen with parking lights (dunno what to call it) and front door OPENED at traffic light .
