u must also that they will take several factors into consideration like
1. how many people will actually take those services.
dont u realise that most people will actually choose to walk out given the massive jams that is caused by the sudden influx of cars?
2. what makes u think that given that there were 70'000 spectators as per mentioned somewhere above, all 70k will board the services. that must be truly insane! it aint a free shuttle to transport all the 70k to another destination. so even if half of the spectators are driving, do u think the other 35k will board it home? the answer is a definite no. and there is only 4 services to AMK, BDK, TAM and BNL. it cant be that all will only take these 4 services right ? there will be alot alot more whom stay in other parts of singapore.
3. lastly, have u ever considered that there is a limit to the no of buses that can be deployed (parked off service along the roads).
of course, they will be more than willing and opened to suggestions and feedback if all the suggestions here are channelled to CRC. Its evident that they're working on it, even amdep finally gives in in deploying doubledeckers for her stadiumdirect on such a major occasion. of course i do agree that more can be done to further improve it. after saying so much, my main point is that one should direct one's complaints and feedback directly to sbs crc to see the actions being carried out.
