SMRTB 106, 970and 61

as of this week
i observe the freq of these three services is now 25mins to 35mins during peak .please SMRTB to increase bus freq otherwise have to avoid taking them during peak.

Damn. Looks like taking svc 14 from CLE to Orchard may be faster than waiting for 106 to come.

Someone had complained about the bus service at Bukit Panjang in Straits Times forum a few days ago.
Let us see how is SMRT going to reply over this matter
Sekali, they reply: We are not doing any improvements to the buses, please consider taking the MRT. By the time you take from CCK to Orchard. The bus that you waited for(over at CCK) has not arrived. -

I supported 106 in the past, now have to take at some times but still have to wait for some period, like 15 minutes plus...

Sv 61, 67, 106, 171, 187, 190, 854, 855, 963, 969, 970 are all problematic svs -
Took TIB620T(Sv 854) just now, the BC was speeding and most of the time want to beat the red lights.
He was talking to another BC onboard telling him that he has only 80mins to travel from Yishun to Bedok -

they have an alarming rise in pax during peak
and 187 always get crowd even during off peak, with no thanks to the UDs.
the only significant other that they managed to handle crowd well is only 902.
only have to wait 30s-5mins, (above 8mins is rare)
and the line for 902 starts from 900berth to 962berth. And its a double line of people. -

the rest of the trip, other pax will suffer too.
and 187 freq used to be better then 168.....
950s same case as 160s. Jams. So can excuse them. Understandable.
and i aint got anything against SMRT buses cos i stay in BB anyway.
its just 187 that affects me every morn and night. -

168 used to have frequencies up to 17 mins, even at times up to 22 mins during refuel. The frequency had been shortened to maximum of 12 - 14 mins whole day. but 187 is not managing well lately. they either need better freq or more bendies. more uds also would be nice.
At least let pax get a chance to seat, esp when we board from int.
when 187 leaves the int 90% packed, it also affect the rest of the commuters
down the line who have waited long.
