  More Mercedes buses in SMRT losing their front rim guard, make it look not smart liao . Wth.
  
  Why make the rims gone. Even SBST also itchy hand make the VSO and VO3X 2nd batch rims gone.

  Actually u are right . For the SMRT Mercedes Benz O405 , with its rim guard removed , the bus looks kinda...stupid.

  its Volvo Batch 1-3, leyland has only 1 batch as after they were rpoduced Volvo close down its Leyland production facility

  SMRTB AMDEP & SBST SLBP>Look at those Merc,Bendies also not spared.
  Volvo B10MK IIIs & MKIV DMs & Strider should put on nut guard,Ditto for Olympians

  Sorry abt my harsh comment . What i meant is that the bus looks weird when compared with those Merc with rim guards on . Many apologies if i offended anyone .
  
  And i agree with you . Perhaps the reason why rim guards are removed is because life will be easier for the tyre crew .

  I agree . Take a look at this HK VO3x , owned by Citybus . It has rim guards on . Compare this bus with SG VO3x with no rim guards , which bus looks smarter / nicer ?

  yes. dress rims beautify the bus. our bus co like taking loose badges off then never replace.

  under SMRT all gone. F*ckers at SMRT.
  
  Hong Kong's buses have all the badges and stuffs displayed in full glory.
  
  And how easier will it for the wheel team people to remove the rims? require the entire workshop people?
