ComfortDelGro Launches Premium Bus Services
There is an error in the description
SBS Transit's 13 premium services will operate single trips from Mondays to Fridays (excluding public holidays), while ComfortDelGro Bus' two services will operate two trips each. All the trips are scheduled to arrive in the CBD area before 9.00am which is the typical starting time for most offices.
These services, however, will continue on their regular routes except Services 56 and 195 which will be diverted to loop at Temasek Avenue.
Flat fares will be charged. SBS Transit's premium services are priced between $2.70 and $3.00 per trip while ComfortDelGro Bus' services cost between $4.50 and $5.00. There will be no concessionary travel but standard transfer rebates will apply for commuters using ez-link cards on SBS Transit services. -

So has anyone confirmed whether they x-over back to their perm services? It seems unlikely they will ask the BC do one 1hour trip then can go home already.

How are the loads for these services? Most are using DDs? Are they fully utilised? I noticed a lot of these services like 535 and 542 skips a number of bustops along their way before reaching the expressways, I wonder what difference does it make if they stop and let people living nearer to the stop to board them instead of walking to the further stops, and end up the load is the same.

Today's newspaper has mentioned that "the 13 of the 15 premium services will run from residential estates to teh Central Business District at intervals of less than 5 mins while the remaining two services will on 15 minutes freq. "
Earlier on, it is mentioned that only one bus is deployed on each service. Now, the freq thing pops up. Anyone care to clarify? -
