  today, QX179R and I boarded SBS9801Y on S553.
  
  met up at tamp int 1st, we took S29 to Tampines Ave 9, Blk 496F bus stop & waited for S553 to arrive.
  
  promptly at 0745hrs, S552/553 came in tandem and turned right onto Ave 9. S552 went on str8 to Tampines St 45 to pick up its passengers whilst S553 stopped & picked us up. tapped ezlink and plonked ourselves nicely on the front left seats of the upper deck.
  
  BC felt he was early hence delayed moving off from the first bus stop & signalled for the S293 KUB behind to overtake.
  
  at the Tampines Ave 7 bus stop, Blk 229, it has the largest number of passengers boarding. abt 12+.
  
  my bus stop(if you all know where) had zero passengers. too near MRT stn already.
  
  bus lane along Simei Ave was seamless except for a taxi who tried to be funny and on hazard lights on bus lane. seeing the VSO comg frm behind, he cancelled hazard lights and left quickly.
  
  got onto the ECP at ard 0805hrs. smooth traffic between Xilin flyover & the Bedok entry point. there, we met up with PA716Z of S531. this S531 joined the ECP behind us. it didnt even take one minute for the SL to overtake us. by the time our S553 reach the tg katong flyover, this PA716Z was gone from our sight!
  
  exited the ECP on the prince edward road flyover, dropped passengers along robinson road.... final stretch to Fullerton Hotel bus stop.... went down the stairs, waved to the BC, tapped ezlink... and that's it! trip end, slightly after 0830hrs.
  
  next premium service to try : 531.

  sv531's sector[Bedok Rd, Upp East Coast Rd] has a lot of execs who rather take the bus than drive to work due to high parking chrages at CBD area, besides pple rather take tt than sv10e[2 much traffic along Mountbatten Rd]
