Scania K230UB Bus Deployments: Any suggestions?

  I believe in 20 days, the first K230UBs will roll off the production line and onto our roads. Suggestions on it's deployment?

  most likely towards those which have MKII being deregistered. then when the trial runs successfully and 1000 more comes, some others to replace the MKII loss, others will most likely be on AMDEP/BRBP/SLBP, replenishing the loss of MBO405/Scania N113CRB.

  i heard from other bus fans that amdep, slbp, bbdep, hgdep and bndep will get 20 units but not sure about that...arbp and brbp will share with amdep and bbdep...

  What is the bodywork? WISH it is Not the IN HOUSE "ComfortDelgro" crap i see on B9s.

  Its produced in the Hougang Assembly Plant. Higher chance that its bodywork is CDGE.

  CDGE bodywork is not that bad IMO , just that the buses need to have EDS to look nicer . I hope the Scanias will have EDS , if not ,

  don't think so, 161 has only 2 SD left, if these two are redeployed and replaced with DDs, its high likely it will revert back to SD, demands are high on 161, especially peak hours. a SD can't do really much especially then. once, a DM3500 (think SBS 2836T) came, can't even board, in the end have to take the next bus. another one time was when SBS 9808D came, it was almost full, but luckily until near exit.

  TIB1049L's right. A Volvo Olympian 2nd Batch bus have took over SBS934G's duties. Trust me that morning buses to and from Hougang are bloody packed. My teacher takes the other raining money tree service, 168. He reported always at 8 am to school and starts his lessons from 8:30 am. He also claimed in class that Bedok is the best route-connected interchange in Singapore .

  While it's a fact that 934G had been replaced by 9508U, there are still TWO single deckers on service 161.
  
  They are 2638Z and 2836T. One may also notice the increased frequency of a MK2 cameo on service 161.

  nope still got 2. 1 strider 1 dm3500, 2638Z and 2836T. these buses will most likely be redeployed by DDs, doubt this 2 will stay. one service's example is 168. 1901U already redeployed, left 2813J. but this one also won't survive.
