from the name , its probably circular and attached to the moving vehicle wheel. because we know play drums are cylindrical and hit with drum stick. so i say is circle shape. then got some sort of pad attached to the vehicle base will hit the brake drum like a outstretched hand. cause friction n slows the wheel down. pressure i assume is applied to this pad thing by way of hydraulics. lol
