No offense meant, but I think best mod would be peeps who don't know too much abt buses (sometimes flaming comes from arguments over which buses are better, and if mod also get dragged into argument it won't be good) but have gd leadership skills and won't let the thread fall into chaos. just my opinions, don't flame me if u disagree.

I see the windows and it looks greenish . It is also equipped with the older Volgren CR221 bodywork . The other Hinos are Hino HS3KRKK , this one is HS3KRKA . -

IF YOU PEOPLE WANT TO CHOOSE MODERATORS. PICK PEOPLE WHO ARE CREDIBLE.
It's not as simple as just some simple Q & A la.
People who knows all about buses doesnt necessarily mean they are credible. The person him/herself must have the capability to bond the Singapore Bus Enthusiast Community together. He must have that responsbility in upholding the integrity of us bus enthusiasts, so people wont mock us for being bus crazy only.
Not only so, I believe the moderators must also be able to correct mistakes and guide the newbies through. We cannot have the thinking, "OH, we know EVERYTHING about buses. You can challenge me for that." We must always be humble.
And finally buses @ sgforums needs moderators because the main moderator knows he cant do everything alone and every rubbish accumulated here is slowly undermining us being smart-alecs and such.
I dont wish to mention who but judging by the posts and threads, I can see.
This place is for all of us to share our knowledges and to correct each other if you genuinely know it's wrong, not pushing the wrong information with even crappier infos. Not criticising people for knowing nuts, for knowing the wrong things. I'm sure me fellow seniors out there would agree with me for this.
Speaking from a bus enthu's point of view cos I daresay I am genuinely one myself (:

Of course not all mods should be an outsider, but a third neutral party, who finds it his main duty to perform the admin stuff, ie, close flaming threads ,repeated threads, finds it easier to carry out his work, rather than someone who is an insider, and has inclinations to support one group or another. -

I wonder how many of the PTC guys use public transport in a week. I think the members on the basis of their know how but failed to understand that people with cars don't belong to the social class of ordinary Singaporeans who have to deal with late buses, slow driving ones, rude bus drivers and rising fares.
Singapore should nationalise public transport...than alot more things will be efficient and cheaper! -
