  SBS9061R is back on perm 98 since last Friday. However, I still can see SBS9547G keep cameoing 98. Wonder replace which DD perm bus slot which is on MIA this time round?

  The estimated cost for the repair 1 year ago was $80K... wonder if that included the possibility of a "new engine".

  yesterday 9157 is missing

  it changes slot evrytime if one perm bus out of service

  Yea!!! Hope it will be out in Sept or Oct.

  Qns: What's the diff between OM447hLA and OM457hLA? More powerful?

  Maybe should have used Voith instead incase of fire(touchwood) again.

  Wow, now SMRT is willing to spend the $$$ recovering this TIB1105H.

  I still remember TIB900K which also got badly burnt at the rear engine compartment. This bus was never recovered and was scrapped...

  TIB900K had the whole rear engine compartment burnt off, that was in year 2000. Tibs attempted to save the bus but it failed.

  TIB1110S was the worst off, whole bus burnt to skeleton.

  i tot it is decided by the insurance company? either write off the whole vehicle or repair it... which ever make more economic sense.. just like normal car like that?

  Sway lah TIB900K. At least SMRT did manage to save TIB1105H which seems worst than TIB900K's condition. Well, its good that WLDEP mechanics had the chance to learn to build and assemble the last compartment of TIB1105H.

  And to let you know, last time TIB1110S SL is the one perm driving TIB1140E as of now, the chinese SL.

  Anyway hope that TIB982Z is still doing fine in AMDEP, this bus caught fire on service 811 if I am not wrong. According to the roster TIB982Z is still perm service 854 and the bus is not put on official lay-up.

  I still remember TIB1021R which caught fire along Jln Eunos too, after which the bus got repaired and it was back to service.

  ya, the left turn into queensway was screwd . Newspaper did feature. Its repaired since only 972 is dereg by BBQ.
