Fastest Door Opening and Closing

Well... Something new here... lets see and vote which bus has the fastest door (when opening/closing)
My vote goes to SBS 9214 S... the exit door just slams shut within 2 seconds after the driver presses the "close door" button...

i think should be those old buses with sliding door during the old days. some of them faulty de them when close, the door slam dam hard.

My vote will go to SBS0553Y.
The door closing will ti... for 1 sec first, before the doors will slam shut within the next 0.5 sec. Dunno repaired already or not.
First time sit that bus got a shock

agreed. i took this bus last time and the door closed fast, another bus is SBS 452E. this bus, delay 2 sec, 0.5 sec close also. and this bus weird weird, the exit door sound only come around 0.2 sec after it starts closing. i remember there's a MBO405 i board like you described. the door closed so fast that it "reopen a little bit" and close. not sure whether its 553Y.Originally posted by my@jas:My vote will go to SBS0553Y.

No offense, but did you actually take a stopwatch? Yeah, SBS 3858Z also has this problem. The smaller front door leaf will open at normal speed. well, i took SBS 902Z and then when front door close, exit door closing sign also light up, somemore the closing sound also got. and during the journey, sometimes, only entrance door open for a while, close, then the rear door closing sign light up and sound emits.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:SBS1991J that time worse . TIB1181L's entrance door is the fastest. It takes 1 -2 seconds to open and close

TIB897L (KJ 190) if im not wrong both of the exit doors in less than a second it close damm fast , can even shock people nearby

Sidetrack a bit: When the bus was travelling along Bendemeer Rd, some people pressed the bell. But the BC only stopped 3 bus stops after. Those people pressed the bell 10+ plus times. That BC has also driven SBS829C & SBS2606R before. Somemore: When I took SBS2606R, he missed the VivoCity stop. Also seen him on SBS2645C on Svc 5, talking to the Svc 5 BC on the first day. (11/3) -
Nissan UD Exit door.
Must be quite painful if you get stuck in that sliding door.
