MB O405 (SBST) or Volvo B10M ?

Hello . I just wanted to know more about you guys' opinion . Do you prefer a Volvo B10M (any models , be it MKII , III or IV.) or a Mercedes Benz O405 (SBST) ?
For me i prefer the O405 . The B10M IMO , tends to 'roll' . I cant really explain how it felt like . The O405 seems 'more stable' during stopping or at stationery. The 'rolling' of the B10M makes me feel nauseatic .
Also , the O405 have better pick up speed than the B10M . As for comfort , both are ok .
So whats ur opinion ? And no flaming pls .

MBO405 is good actually. but i prefer B10M, much more better IMO.

The reason why i dont choose the B10M is because of its tight legroom as compare to O405s . So , its kinda pity loh .
One of the B10M models i like is the MKIV DM . That time took the "G" on 161 , the bus was quite a chiongster . Then that time sat at the front seats , so legroom not really a problem . Suspension was also quite nice . One of the few B10M rides i've enjoyed.
O405 to me also feels 'more spacious' . -
O405s and only the DM3500s

The MK3s and DM Mk4s simply suck in design. The O.405s are much better than the B10Ms when it comes to city routes. The B10Ms are more suited for intercity/long distance/tour duties. The manual B10Ms perform better than the auto ones, which is why I prefer taking a B10M coach than a B10M citybus.

Which B10M Model is used by coaches in Singapore? (MK-II, MK-III or MK-IV?)

Hmm, sometimes kenna the 0405 is so jerky, but also nolstalgic so I don't really hate it...
At about second gear sometimes there is a lull, not much acceleration, quite fun...
B10M (Mk III), hmm, fun in the point of Voith ones (ZF haven't take yet), engine is almost like my fav Habit in terms of acceleration, but you get to hear it in Volvo tones, instead of Mercedes tone.

To me:
Same same but different.
O405 engine very loud. B10M not that bad.
O405 chiong between bus stop. B10M chiong on expressway.
O405 acceleration is fast. B10M acceleration is slow.
O405: 1 B10M: 1 Tie: 1
Both buses got their pros and cons. -

For me, of course is MB0405. Although MB0405 got the jerky problem but the jerking problem sometimes helps to increase speed of acceleration. As the engine is at the back, when you sit at the front you would be hearing the engine sound. It is very comfortable. I also like MK 4 DM3500 but not MK 3. Dm3500 is always my favourite as I like their exterior and interior design. That time when I charter one bus, I chose DM3500.

Yeah! They let you choose. That time I called them, I tell them i prefer the bus model Dm3500 and they say " huh"? Later I say I want to charter those buses used in the IMF events then they know. Opps, few years ago saw 2702X smashed into a private bus's back at Commonwealth Ave West, before CLE MRT, but was back in service soon after. Was on svc 105.
Of course your charter came after the accident. I loved DM3500 too, once, but Striders (slightly 'longer' look) won over.
Of course, needless to say, they are fast vehicles. Once a HK bus fan said buses like Merc cannot be challenged on highways, Volvos win over them in terms of max speed, but when come to traffice lights, Merc pwns all.
Of course he was only talking about a particular model, namely the 0305 DD... -
Oh really!! Does that matter? My dad's car also kana crashed at the back multiples of times but the car still look the same as we the insurance pay everything and the car somehow still looks newer. Hahaz, they also help us to repair the faulty sensor. X2 . Altho i didnt take a B10M , i took a B10B coach instead . The acceleration can say superb . Top speed ? might be MK2 or MK3. -
although many of the DM3500s are starting to vibrate when idle...i really like the ac..its like those Merc CAC DMs..cooll..shiok...DM3500s and 0405 CAC DMs for me...
