and I make transfers at these 2 towns daily with no problems. The only delay I had was last week on 190(pm peak BP to CCK) waiting time was 7min. Then 2 bendy came. but da Red EDS inside claimed that there was "Jam at PIE". -

Agree! Just say the roads near my house, S'goon Nth Ave 1, Yio Chu Kang Rd (bef 854 turns in) and Ang Mo Kio Ave 3. Lol. Actually, I stay near that area too. I am staying nearer to Serangoon CC. I feel that our area though there is no MRT line plying there, it is rather convenient in terms of bus network. There are a lot of options and besides, there are buses that link up to all the three MRT lines currently NSL, EWL and NEL and also CCL in the future. It is always a win-win situation for SMRT, with little investment on buses, it can get to force the people to take the rail. With more investment on buses, it can get to increase its capacity and expand on more routes, and thus more revenue. -

After taking over SBSTRANSIT 5 and replace it with SMRT970, they call it enhancement! My foot.
And worst remove SSB602 with no replacement. -
If only SMRT had the subway monopoly, SBS took back BPJ and gave HGN to Tibs instead.
5 & 961 will be competing like 25 & 854. -
They have a reason to reduce frequencies, which is to force people to take the LRT/MRT. The LRT isn't doing very good and is getting subnormal profits according to the latest financial report. So they need to force people onto the LRT. When this happens, you will find that they would need to divert bus passengers to LRT. It may have been better to build a spur line from the NSL from CCK to BPJ, and then link it up with the BTL in future. -
Sometimes, it's not true! Like I took 157 and 132 last time, it's only about 1 hr 30 min, about the same as bus transfer train. If you say, HBF, I would take train, it's really faster than bus, not because I only support SBST. Woodlands Checkpoint, depends, sometimes the waiting time makes me change my mind and sometimes 170 BCs chiong a lot.
