Woodland Causeway to Fragrance Hotel(Crystal)

Hi there,
anyone can help me? I am searching for the fastest and easiest route out from woodland causeway to Fragrance Hotel(Crystal) for my overseas friend. I don't want her to change too many bus service, scared that she might lose her way while trying to find the hotel. Thanks. -

OK you should take bus 170 and go to the end (Queen Street) and from there go to a bus stop along Victoria Street take a bus that goes to SIMS AVE or Guilemard Road -

There are lots of other budget hotels around, other than those in Geylang. Frankly, if my friend is a girl, I don't think I want her staying at those places.

Haha... i not pimp lah. I also very surprised when she told me that she booked fragrance hotel. I was like ????. She was previously telling me that she want to book boon wah hotel(Little India) or cozy hostel(Bugis) but all was fulled. She first time travelling out of Thailand and furthermore she alone. I worry for her.

How about if i ask her to take 168 from woodland int all the way to tampines before changing bus 7 to geylang? Is it much faster this way cos i see 170 route quite long? 168 most of the route expressway + bus 7 only 7-8 station to geylang?

i guess that she wanted to prove to herself that she can travel alone coz i feel her trip was not really planned well. She departed BKK on fri 27/07 morning to penang(1 day), KL(1 day), Malacca(1 day), Singapore(1 1/2 day) before returning back to BKK.
To me, like that, how to see and enjoy everything when it is so rushing? I am actually quite worry since she only have a rough plan but not detailed one. -
How is she going to where 168 is???? If she can get to Causeway Point, why take 168? Might as well take MRT to Aljunied and from Aljunied MRT walk to the hotel... -
Are you sure she will end up at Woodlands? Maybe someone used the room before your friend, then when she use the bed or chair, there is something sticky on it.
Oxford Hotel in Queen Street is quite cheap also, maybe $70-80. -

why not go to hotel 81 chinatown or hotel 81 bencoolen? They're the "better and safer" budget hotels in the hotel 81 group.

One night only Fragrance is ok lah... and ask her to take 170 to Queen Street and treat the long bus ride as a sightseeing tour. If you are wrong and she ended up at Queen Street ask her to walk to Victoria Street / Lavender MRT and take the MRT to Aljunied MRT and walk to the Hotel.
She can travel all the way from Thailand to Singapore and is so stupid as you think... and Singapore being the least dangerous place, she would have been murdered and raped before she can cross the Causeway -
