Not a bad suggestion. SMRT BCs can take a break at Eunos int. The only problem is the SMRT and SBST territory thingy.Originally posted by No_10_Tomas:how about this
woodlands -> PIE -> KPE -> ECP -> Tanjong Katong Rd -> Mountbatten Rd -> Amber Rd -> Marine Parade Rd, Still Rd South, Still Rd, Eunos Interchange
It serves both marine parade AND eunos
Perhaps SBST might want thisOriginally posted by tanjun:Not a bad suggestion. SMRT BCs can take a break at Eunos int. The only problem is the SMRT and SBST territory thingy.
Longer waiting times,I rather they loop instead of 2 direction unless they add busesOriginally posted by tanjun:Not a bad suggestion. SMRT BCs can take a break at Eunos int. The only problem is the SMRT and SBST territory thingy.
i think they should add buses regardless of looping or not.. 20mins waiting time is damn pathetic..Originally posted by carbikebus:Longer waiting times,I rather they loop instead of 2 direction unless they add buses
For peak hours i feel 8-14 mins is justified for a new unpredictable services while off peak i think 15-18 mins will doOriginally posted by manjieass:i think they should add buses regardless of looping or not.. 20mins waiting time is damn pathetic..
Horrible idea. Increase travelling times for everybody....Originally posted by No_10_Tomas:how about this

I think that until SMRT Buses are going to purchase more buses, all these suggestions are probably not going to be implemented. More buses and drivers will be needed to enhance their current services frequencies. Our suggestions which have the intention to improve the town network probably result in the increase in the demand of buses.Originally posted by manjieass:i think they should add buses regardless of looping or not.. 20mins waiting time is damn pathetic..
bt panjang residents will come after you. anyway I'm refering to Phase 1 of KPE which is the stretch linking PIE and ECP and it will open in 2 months time The portion from PIE to TPE will only be ready by end of 2008Originally posted by NickL_C151:Dude, 966 was probably implemented to compete with the high demand for 15. Rerouting it would give back the Jln Eunos - Marine Parade link to 15 again. If you want to reroute it, maybe it could use SLE - TPE - KPE and exit at Kim Chuan Road or Airport Road. Then, it can get more passengers transferring to 15 from 58 and 87 without having to cross the road at Kaki Bukit. Genius idea? No. It will lose passengers from Bukit Panjang, although there are only a few people taking 966 there. SMRT needs to earn the money, judging from the quality and service of buses.
u are wrong.. theere are lots of bp residents takin 966 at pending LRT....Originally posted by NickL_C151:Dude, 966 was probably implemented to compete with the high demand for 15. Due to some lines being drew by some organization, this will not happen.Originally posted by patdog112:966 i wish it will extend to bedok...... most importantly when it hits down expressway it muz reach a east side MRT station asap!
Another horrible idea by u again....Originally posted by No_10_Tomas:bt panjang residents will come after you. anyway I'm refering to Phase 1 of KPE which is the stretch linking PIE and ECP and it will open in 2 months time The portion from PIE to TPE will only be ready by end of 2008
i get what u mean, how abt this
woodlands -> BKE (via Bt Panjang) -> PIE, KPE, ECP, Tanjong Katong Rd, Mountbatten Rd, Amber Rd, Marine Parade Rd, Still Rd South, Still Rd, Jln Eunos, PIE, (*Bedok North Ave 3), Bedok North St 1 and Bedok Interchange
* for info, there will be a new interchange to PIE from Bedok North Ave 3 in due course, currently under construction

i noe the pain of waiting for 966. if only thr is a higher freq. of 966 or another bus tt can link bp to eunos, then 966 can reroute

Can,But 61 must be withdrawn or shortened.Originally posted by tanjun:
like this? But i dun think it will be implemented anyway.
