Depends . Can be Neutral or Friends . That time at HBF , saw one plump SMRT SL sit there eating bun , then theres another group of SBST BC nearby chatting.
But i've seen SMRT SLs talking to SBST BC as well. -

Another company maybe not lah.
A small race today evening between the same company BCs though.
On 706E servcie 985W, at Adam exit PIE, got into a race with 883B service 190, and 883B BC waved his hand to tell 706E BC go faster, all the while overtaking 706E. 706E was slightly below 60km/h and 883B slightly faster ie above 60km/h. Then 706E BC gunned the accelerator and went ahead of 883B again. The beep beep sound was on during that time, and then 706E slowed down, BC gave signals, 883B lagged 706E by half a bus length and over Eng Neo exit, 706E slowed down to let 883B cut into the lane while overtaking a lorry on lane 3, after which 883B on full throttle all the way to BKE exit. 706E did not exceed 60km/h during that time and 883B gained at least 500m during that period. Nice race... -
I dont think theres any mass hostility between the drivers. unless its some personal fued
On the higher management level, maybe its a yes. Rivals and competitors will never like each other -
SBST BCs like to ask free rides with their uniform on SMRT Buses but not the other way round.
SBST BCs are very particular on fares while SMRT are flexible. -

SBST BCs always stop buses close to the road kerb, but SMRT Buses' drivers stop their buses at least two steps away. -

Well, those indian drivers like to communicate with each other. Well, one SBS BC from Sembawang rode on 859 and talked and talked. Also happened on 913. Seen, a 133 BC communicating with a 106 BC about the NDP Jams. I was right beside the BC. Well, wat about commuters talking to BCs. Talked to a BC twice before
