Service 16

it's good that svc 16 extends to Bedok... Now I have another choice of buses to go to east coast park, apart from 196,197 & 401... But it's even more good that 16 & 196 brings me directly from bedok to marine cres... =)
Actually, it's true that svc 16 follows the former 608 route... Now, i just realised...

Just now at about 11pm seen workers changing the sticker for service 16. BTW, I just found out that these help to install both SBST and SMRT bus plates..

I dun think all will be from BN those SPs will not be enough. Theres 6 OAC Scanias, 1 MK2, 7 Mk4s = 14 buses... and they can't use all the SP buses anyway. But now theres no point for speculation... its all up to sbst anyway. what can we do? it's good that 16 become a bi-directional svc cos its route is too long for looping
many years back 16 terminated at marine parade terminal, was actually extended to changi airport for a short spell before it was truncated to loop at siglap rd
i hope after 16 and 196, 76, 135 and 155 can be subsequently extended to bedok/upp east coast or tampines to become 2-directional service cos of long and tedious journey -
Ever heard of BNDEP dumping those NAC Scanias on feeder services and extracting those permers under feeder services out? For all you may know amdep pull stunt make service 45 go full amdep Then again those bndep scanias have ads so maybe not so soon.
Deduction derived from the countless spare merc amdep has and the choking of buses at bndep side. So its not confirmed... but we'll see..
Then again maybe not... online timetable effective date remains unchanged. -

i just came back from the bus stop, no change, ALL sv16 is still the same fleet unless they whole sale tfr to BNDEP wic CANNOT happen...
2 MKIII B10M cameos SBS818J, SBS829C and i MKII SBS1750M[since Fri, bus used to be from sv32] -
Saw a BN (Needs clarification) buses on 16 today
SBS633A (BN 31)
--> KFC Side ad, unless AR has an MK3 with that ad
maybe minority control -
I don't see Sv 16 being fully controlled by BNDEP......... Most likely it will be majority ARBP control with minority BNDEP buses......

I notice another glaring error on the new bus plate... Upp East Coast Rd is being put up as "wu jie lu" in mandarin when it should ve been "dong hai an lu shang duan" see pix...

Dun think will happen cos Bedok int is really full now. I dun think it has space to accommodate some more new services.
