Yes it does.. it plies the stretch of Upp East Coast Rd between Siglap Rd & Bedok South Ave 1, and covers for the route of withdrawn Service 608, instead of duplicating with Services 196, 197 and 31 along Marine Parade Rd.Originally posted by No_10_Tomas:the extended goes to upp east coast road?????? -

So are there additional buses for service 16? They will have difficulties as all their SP MKIIIs are JB registered.

Anyway, if u look closely at the buses stopping at Bedok bus interchange, most of them are trunk services while for Boon Lay, a bigger proportion of them is Jurong Industrial Services. However, for Bedok int, there are already no spaces for buses to park properly as in in parking lots. There are insufficient parking lots to house the number of buses. Yet, the int situated in the middle of Bedok new town makes it very bustling. -
But some JIS like 252, 255, 257 have high frequency. Other BNL services like 179 and 242 also high frequency during peaks.
