Crazy Waiting Time for Bus 32

My tolerance is almost runnin out for bus no.32. The waiting time is killing me. Everyday I stand at the bus stop along river valley waiting. On normal days, waiting time is about 15-20mins. Yesterday it has hit a new high. While waiting "patiently"for 20mins, I decided to try the 'iris' sms service. The result was 7mins away. 20+7mins!! And the best part was, the subsequent bus will take 45mins to arrive!! goodness?! Efficiency my ass! SO much for better bus service and even wanting to take a bus price hike! ARGH! I hate the system! Monopoly sux!!

second bus is just 45-27 = 18 minutes away from first bus
EG: You SMS at 1.00pm, bus comes at 1.07pm, second bus at 1.25pm.
and, well, the bus frequencies are worsening over the years no doubt -
Oh ok, thanks for clearing that up. However, I've waited for 30mins for the bus to arrive before. So sometimes I also doubt the 'Iris" thing really works accurately. Sigh...

if you want more bus they will ask for fare hike.

YA! then there are times when there are no buses, there are really no buses at all, and somedays, 3 of the same arrive at the same time...talk about irregular!

Quite true , usually after school i take 160 home , 2 stops after Jurong East Int (Boon Lay Way , Blk105) i use iris to find out arrival time , once i remembered it says : Service 160: Next bus 6 mins , subsequent bus : 15 mins , 6mins later nv arrive , then i use iris again it says : Next bus: 2mins , subsequent bus : 2 minsOriginally posted by airtherine:Oh ok, thanks for clearing that up. SBS rather pamper some bus services with ADD until 3 or 4 empty ones can come together... -
just a quick update, I decided to dial Iris before leaving the office, so that I dun have to inhale the smoke by the road. Still wanting to know what time Bus 32 arrives, the reply was "next bus: 43mins. Subsequent bus: 59mins."
ARGH!??! Goodness...Faints... -
worst case scenario. pick up more passengers at one go, less losses

If only we know the bus interchange tel no,eg,Svc 32 is from Bedok,we should be allowed to call up Bedok Interchange , asking them "what happen to this service......?

96 PM Peak weekday waiting time can be quite crazy also (student/high demand svc somemore). Today only have 2 buses (1787 and 854D) on Sv96 between around 5.20 - 6+pm (Another BC/bus having meal break). 1787 left CLE Int at around 5.43pm or so and pax was already standing almost to the door when it left CLE Int. About 20mins later, 854D departed from CLE Int, not full yet. When it reached CLE Ave 3 bus stop, the bus became full and a few NUS Students cannot board. About 10 mins later, 1787 did the next trip again...

Might as well say , because morning rush , never bath . Then when take bus , no need scared plp will smell your odour.
Anyway , TS waiting time , can say its bearable, unless waiting for the bus means u will get late for school, if its outside curriculum and work time , can say "can tahan" . For SMRT , most . That time waited for 966 for 45mins , 960 for 30mins (didnt even get a place to sit after waiting for this bus) , 970 for roughly 27mins . -

Anyway , which SBST svc has crazy waiting times ? I do rmbr my fwen once waited for 132 for almost an hour .
That time we had a proficiency course at the Old Police Academy . My this group of cca friends first set off, about half an hour before we set off as well . Then we took 700 ( which was jam packed as well) to Whitley road there change to whichever svc that goes to teh academy . When we arrived , i found out that my friends who had set off first before us , WAS STILL WAITING FOR 132 .
Then when he talked to us , he said this "We waited for that bloody 132 for so long still havent come! Sheesh!" They have no idea that 153 and some other service do go to the academy as well. -

Lucky Plaza bus stop at about 6.15pm. Only 14e came between 6.10pm and 6.20pm
I noticed this information panel cant display FFw 14e services (since its the first stop)

Seriously SBS got to improve freq for such svs
I see ridership dropping could be partly due to long waiting time, NAC, etc -

Remembered waiting for SBS1711B(Now R.I.P) on 32 last April, it took me more than 35 minutes to wait for it. I got down from SBS1895L of Service 200 and waited. Should have went to the toilet during that wait.Originally posted by Seven_Dragon:32 is the worse...
