54A serves 4 bus stops only - Blk 246 Bishan St 22 to Bishan MRT. Its basically the 2nd shortest of all SWTs in singapore if i am not wrong. The shortest is 95A - 3 stopsOriginally posted by 201911:used to have 54A from Bishan St 22 blk 246 BS to the int, but the service was scrapped some time in 2005 I think. now its just 54.

not really, 54A was removed quite a while ago, even before the 54 ext. to serve more of Bishan East.Originally posted by service_238:54A serves 4 bus stops only - Blk 246 Bishan St 22 to Bishan MRT. It was withdrawn after 54 was amended to serve the whole Bishan East estate. They still operate downroutes but as service 54 from Bishan St 22 to Bishan Int.
its a daily affair on crowded busesOriginally posted by SBS9889U:Some duno sadistic or wad BCs especially if they are late and especially some who like to ask student for ezlink card when they pay cash and try their best to confiscate their card will not bother to ask people/students to move in. Duno if the BC sees stuents at the bus stop cannot take the bus and late for sch then they very happy or wad. Then since the BC himself is late, those students onboard would likely be late for sch and those at the bus stop even later![]()
PM peak freq now closing to 10 minsOriginally posted by 105090:its a daily affair on crowded buses
Students suddenly became stone or can't move their legs to the back.
The BC also lan lan just leave front door open and stare in front..
74 is just one irritating example, serving so many schools!

lack of busses, interval too long![]()
Yes, 859 is one example. The buses are really packed as mainly Lances are deployed from 852/851/854. And some crossed over to perform 167. And by next year, the 859 downroutes during sch AM peak will be called off as Yishun Town Secondary moves back to it's original site.Originally posted by Yaimster:I'm surprised no one says 852, 853 and 859.
135 DD in mornings? Think if 853 introduce just one bendy (maybe a 67 crossover afterwards), I feel it can snatch AMK students to schools in Serangoon/Potong Pasir.
