Service 161 cannot be considered a WAB service as the total number of WABs is < 50% of the total fleet.Originally posted by Class 55 Deltic Fan:It's been a long time since they are one. Well, at least 161 is a WAB service but not registered officially.![]()
like that SV 76 also cannot be consider as a WAB service?Originally posted by off_service:Service 161 cannot be considered a WAB service as the total number of WABs is < 50% of the total fleet.
8 out of 18 not so bad.. 161 is 3 out of 12..Originally posted by lemon1974:like that SV 76 also cannot be consider as a WAB service?
8 B9TL on SV 76, total fleet = 18. less than 50%.
wrong. Its 8 out of 17. and 2 of them do 125 138 afternoon onwards, then 1 will do 76 during afternoon and evening portion as xover from 25...Originally posted by lemon1974:like that SV 76 also cannot be consider as a WAB service?

ya 8 out of 18 or 17 is not bad, but it is still less than 50% right? then it should not be consider as a WAB as you all say that it need >50% WAB.Originally posted by off_service:8 out of 18 not so bad.. 161 is 3 out of 12..
If we take the 50% benchmark for peak hours only, most B9 services will be eligible, except, once again, 161. It has only 2 full day and 1 Split Shift.Originally posted by lemon1974:ya 8 out of 18 or 17 is not bad, but it is still less than 50% right? then it should not be consider as a WAB as you all say that it need >50% WAB.
even like what Service_238 have stated, only during evening peak (3 hours), only does sV 76 have more than 50% WAB on service, but this is comparing to different number of fleets during different time. We should talking abt the total fleet right?
actually i dun think the 50% rule exist also. If so, SV 21 will not be a WAB in the beginning.. only 10 perm B9 in the start plus 4 SPs out of total 23 buses? only later, it added two more B9 from the SP.
Actually i dunno who in this forum said about the 50% benchmark. By fact its about 40 odd % of the total perm fleet. Just look at 21 and 76. In fact I believe its the frequency for a WAB throughout the whole day. Just look at any timetable, no WAB bus has a frequency of more than 30min at any one time. I didnt really check the WAB timetable in detail so prove me if I'm wrong in the previous sentence.Originally posted by tanjun:In that case, am i correct to say that there is no benchmark of becoming a WAB service? SBST proclaims that whatever service becomes the WAB service when they are ready for it.
I hope svc 143 will be next in line too...Originally posted by bendy2003:I guess the next one in line should be svc 88
shot my own sentence...Originally posted by service_238:Just look at any timetable, no WAB bus has a frequency of more than 30min at any one time. I didnt really check the WAB timetable in detail so prove me if I'm wrong in the previous sentence.
