anybody tell the bus driver to drive faster

  But according to one BC on 174 , he said driving slowly is comfortable , so long as its within the timetable's timing. Maybe thats why some BC chose to drive slow.

  BC of TIB 0522T (was an young-old grumpy man when I was on his bus) once told me this. Was checking for the speedometer after complains of speedy SMRT buses.

  Reason why the BC drove slow is becos he is too early with the inference from the schedule, and hence he has to slow down in order to align the timing on the schedule.

  In feb, when I board SBS 498Z on Svc 154.. The driver drove super slow along Bukit timah rd.. Later, one auntie ask loudly "Hello uncle, the bus is running out of petrol huh?" (In hokkien).. Then BC reply that he is ahead of the timing, so got to drive so slow.. Then auntie keep complaining but the driver just dun call her and enjoy his slow driving..

  becuz of their "earlyness" we have to endure the slow trip. imagine a few buses(different svcs) at the back overtaking you and arriving at ur location much faster.
  
  thats why i prefer SMRT, faster trip because they need to chiong more...

  speaking of slow buses. Sv403 seems to have a extremely generous timing for the short route. The driver crawls throughout the route.

  194 also. The BCs purposely depart a few minutes late to waste time, especially around mid afternoon...
