- Leyland Atlantean AN68.2R / Alexander R : Scrapped
In the early 90s, SBS sold 100 Units of Leyland Atlantean AN68.2R / Alexander L type to HK CityBus. But due to CityBus practise, these 100 L type had their front rebuilt and thus, they had a R Type front while their stay in HK CityBus.
After the LAs retired from their service in CityBus, most of them had been scrapped and a few lucky units managed to find their to South Africa, having to start a new life, serving the people there. -
I remember of all the DD engines...Leyland Atlanteans were the loudest...u cld see the engine running at the side of the bus...very rickity bus...u find yurself jerking alot inside the bus...but i loved it

MBO305DD is nice, i like the sound of the bus and its so smooth until the bus goes over a hump la. -
I hate the MB NAC Double Deckers. THey are ugly and noisy. Dun know why sbs employ them on so many services.
Its good that they are finally removed from service. -

One of the most powerful buses that SBS had brought. Too bad none of the current fleet could simply match the performance by these powerful workhorse. -

Based on AMDEP, BBDEP and BNDEP. Mainly on Bt Batok, CCK, Bedok, Tampines services, also on selected AMK and Toa Payoh services too.

Based mainly on HGDEP and minority on AMDEP. Mainly on Hougang services. Also spotted on Eunos, Sims Ave and selected AMK and Bedok services.
Leyland Oylampians
Based mainly on old Jurong bus park (now SLDEP) and Toa Payoh depot (now BRBP). Mainly on Jurong services (regradless of trunk, feeder or JIS) and Toa Payoh services. -

I rem everytime u saw the MB0305 DDs come 2 a halt @ a traffic light, u cld see the bus see-saw in suspension
Albion Vikings i rem were freaking noisy...if i'm not wrong they were manual transmission? -

Hougang controlled quite a number of Bedok Services before, 25 and 26 were two of them.
Jurong Depot and Jurong bus park �‚ slbp, they are te predecessors of slbp. Toa Payoh depot was probably gone when bram was built. It was an ex-UBC depot located at Lor. 8. -

I like the NAC leyland olympians. Too bad they are scraped and they were only restricted to the western and toa payoh side of singapore. -
