Noticed some seat Avilable is not accurate..?

people purposely dont step on those sensor steps loh

there are some ways to trick the sensor. explain how it works then u figure out why can make mistaek

Going up - ie plus 1
1) the two steps are weight sensors. u step on lower step and then upper step, the thing will wait for a check signal.
2) this check signal is when ur leg trip the infra red sensor. once u cut off th infra red line 9which is not visible to human eye of course), cirucit is broken. a signal is sent to the chip. the CPU then confirms a person going up and performs add one to CPU and outputs to screen in bus.
why mistake> i do not know what happens when u leap over the infra red line accidentally. 9step very high) from my experiments it seems the system will still add one. but sometimes hehe heh it does not.
going down - minus one
the process is
1) u trip the infra red 9cause u r gg to go down0 . system wait for check signal
2) the check signal is the weight sensors. higher step then lower step. after both outputs are received , the CPU performs minus one and outputs to screen. if no check signal is sent i guess the system still minus one.
why mistake > as in the case of jumping over the infra red sensor earlier. similar mad results occur if u jump over the infra red.
why mistake> play weight sensor? or real life situation? . u go up lower step and higher step. then trip the infra red. stand there. oh no. someone is coming down. aiyah haste. so skip both step faster coem down let person come down. OH NO. system add one but never minus one cause u jump over BOTH steps 9or step one step also can confuse)
infra red tripping -
the infra red is emmited from a source about 15cm above the upper deck floor level. the infra red is beamed over to a detector . the whole setup is then connected to a simple electrical circuit. a person feet move into the line of infra red beam. detector detect no more infra red.
this then breaks the circuit whereby a signal is then sent to the CPU (assuming CPU is in a tiny chip inside the bus near the ECU) i reckon they cant fit the chip with CPU onto the ECU chip interface. maybe can. can be done of course.

fact:-
the first bus to have seat counter installed is SBS9608 then doing service 14. today the bus lower deck still have the announcement of first seat counter.

the seat counter system was designed by a bus fan who then worked part time under SBS in industrial attachment during his school days.
