I was from Sungei Gedong from 1999 - 2001 and 2003 - 2005.
Totally went on public transport in 2001 April to 2001 June.
Very yucky public transport system. Imagine doing route march from the bus stop to your bunk everyday. Wah lau... And the super mosquitoes from the guard room to the bus stop outside. If it rains, board the bus with swimming pool shoes. And no wearing of sandals when walking past the guard room.
Or if you want, can apply for the chartered bus. If you going to stay in that camp for long, get a personal transport or get the bus pass is a plus point. If not be prepared for a good workout everyday you book in and out. Also if you are riding, never ever have an accident. Because chances of getting banned after accident from riding into camp is very high. Then you will have to walk the long distance.

963 from WRI to BPJ Int about 20 mins, plus 975 journey about 40-45 mins. Not including waiting and walking time.
