Attitude of bus driver

i wonder if you noticed most bus drivers purposely stop a short distance away from boarding commuters.

ok la, the buses i take usually, they come to the front part of the bus stop.

i can't believe that people even complain of such things...even though i do admit it can be annoying sometimes when the driver does that. Did you ever consider looking at the situation? Was the bus stop crowded at the boarding area? Would it be dangerous if the bus stops nearer (Maybe because someone is standing very near to the road kerb)? What if the side mirrors hit commuter's head?
Please, be empathetic, think of the bus driver. If he stop too front, people may
then complain his driving is dangerous.

it happens even when there is only one bus and one or two commuters (standing together) waiting to board the bus.

if it happens to me, i'll take my own sweet time walking to the bus and boarding it.

but some drivers stop way infront for the convenience of his alighting passengers lah. cant blame them. examples are the bus stop along tampines ave 4 opp. tamp mrt stn. stop nearer to the overhead bridge. -
A short distance away? Overshot the bus stop or stopped to early? I realise some drivers purposely overshoot the bus stop as he knows that there is some other bus behind. The passengers can then alight/board the bus behind at the same time too.

ar...this is gd one. i juz noticed especially BCs on 852, onli brake the Lance when turn into the bus bay. ridiculous. there's once my friend on 961 then the BC sudden brake. then he hit the seat in front
