yeah, headache now. argh.Originally posted by my@jas:Reading your decription gives me a headache
Next time just state the road name it passes through.
If ever implemented, it'll most probably be a SMRT svc as it passes through WDL, SBW and YSH.
I believe 851 would be better off under SBSOriginally posted by iveco:169 could be given back to SBS, who will put VSOs to serve on this route.
But SBS can't put DDs on that route.Originally posted by sbst275:I believe 851 would be better off under SBS
Hopefully the place can redevleop to take in DDsOriginally posted by iveco:But SBS can't put DDs on that route.![]()
Actually just hack down the covers at the entrance. Add a berth that is currently used for alighting purposes (ie. next to 811-towards Khatib). Problem solvedOriginally posted by chocolates-xed:yea.. or maybe when yishun int is rebuilt then DDs can come in, but i think just making the roof higher would be a plus point cause more ppl wud rather take buses that have DDs then SD's -> mostly SMRT
One qn, for service 164, at the part where it turns right into Wellington Circle, I have checked The Street Directory by Mighty Minds stating that Wellington Circle is a dead end. So, how does the route go then?Originally posted by tintinspartan:I may say this:
I plan a new service

Well ... Let's say for 410 for example. SMRT could have ...
410A instead of 410G for 410 Anti-Clockwise ... and ...
410C instead of 410W for 410 Clockwise
or 410E for 410 East and 410W for 410 West.
Just a thought.
Try comparing SMRT Intratown services like 811E, 812E and Express services like 854EOriginally posted by tanjun:Woah. Idea sounds feastible. To me, it is ok if 410A or 410C routes are stated clearly at bus stops and Transitlink Bus Guides.
To a general public, it sounds rather confusing. Some people are asking me about differentiating the directions of buses of 73, 136, 315, 317 respectively at Serangoon Garden Circle. Of course, I will have to explain like 73, 136 use different coloured bus plates at the side of the bus while 315, 317 use a small card in front of the driver's seat.
Then they ask me, how come SBST don't want to standardise the way of differentiating the directions so that it will be easier for us? I am stunned though. Anyway, with 985W, 67W and other shortworking trips, what I am worried is that commuters are confused and tend to infer from another SMRT service like for example 67W is a shortworking trip instead of acting as a role like 73, 136, 315, 317.
Intratown serviceOriginally posted by azharjj:I cant tell what's the difference between for e.g SMRT svc 912 & 912E... ( the letter "E" at the back). Sometimes, I saw both 912 & 912E plies on the same road... It's rather confusing. But what I know is it can't compared with an exp svc like 188E & 963E... Can anybody explain this ?![]()
if for a service like 912, which is explained by chocolates, is an intra-town service, 912E means that it will terminate at woodlands interchange after finishing its trip. if you see a 912 without an E, it will not terminate but will go to woodlands interchange and terminate the next time round. this goes the same for 911 and 913. for trunk services, an E means express service.Originally posted by azharjj:I cant tell what's the difference between for e.g SMRT svc 912 & 912E...
