when will smrt be buying new buses? looks like for now wun have.. cause of the nissans but the nissans must expire soon what. anway how to find out the bus expiry date? i saw it b4 .. but cant locate the website

no mention of new bus to buy yet.
nissans long way to go. u see if the merc of SBS go, then nissans go
the CAC ones bought in 1991
the OAC ones in 1993. assume 18 years regulation then 2009 and 2011.

in a recent lianhe zaobao article it was mentioned that 66 new buses will be bought in 2008 and another 66 in 2011. to acess the thread abt this go here.

I dun tink nissan buses will xpire tat fast, they hav remove CSS bus services and taken over their buses for their plys, last time the nissans are kept near kallang mrt...

Unfortunately, the Neoplan Jumbocruiser stopped production in 1992. No other manufacturers have made anything like it.

from today newspaper (forget wanbao or sin ming alrd), SMRT confirm that by year end, 66 WAB will be put on the road, and at least another 64 WAB ( will be put on the road next year. dunno what brand they are buying though..
