Fares cheap but i notice the bus hardware deployed on SGP-Malacca routes is too old & inferior for nowadays. Only seem to see spring-suspended vehicles with low-end engines with noisy & vibrasive seperate 'donkey-engined' air-conditioners ?!
The rise in living standard of the market + the distance to Malacca is long enough to justify using moderately higher end coaches with air-suspension & engine driven air-con.
High time least some operators upgrade their fleets to that.
However, they can forget about the questionable frills like massaging seats & individual videos but invest funds more into the bus-chassi & coachwork aspects instead. Better to have a good class vehicle without such frills than some 2nd class bus-chassi & coachwork loaded with all the frills !
