and probably this coming monday, a few Scanias will be added into Sv 100, not sure about 174 though.

i'm involved with the Standard Chartered Mararthon as Leader for 3 differnt posts.
As a Leader (yes, i'm the youngest in Leader in this year's Singapore Marathon), i have to Deal with Adults. So its a little stressful. -

Destos Are A Way Too, But It's Quite A Hassle To Change Everytime u reach the interchange. Worse for feeder services. One bus driver can change lots of times in a day.
Good Thing is that these buses when camoein other services do not need to have the destos of the sv. Just input and wala! done.
But Mantainance would be an issue, cause problems might arise (not now) but maybe in 8 to 9 years time.
parts and repairs would be costly. -
But I bet complain would come over lack of han characters

i remembered SBST used to comment in the press that they opt for plastic desto rather than EDS because the latter is more clearly visible and more economical. Now, they changed their opinions liao.
the new scanias with EDS would serve its purpose well esp for svc plying via Sgoon Gdn Circus and Whampoa, and Townlink svc. -
That's their opinion in general.
