Ah I see. Thanks for clarifying.Originally posted by Scania:Volgren does not have a plant in Johor, Gemilang (situated in Johor) was licenced (not sure about now) to build Volgren buses in Malaysia using ckd kits. The Hino HS3KRKA/HS3KRKK, 1024H and the Volgren Lances were bodied by Gemilang.
Eh... The Liannex Plant is at Sungei Kadut, not Woodlands. (Could be easily seen from MRT heading towards JRE (the yellow building before the river near Yew Tee)Originally posted by iveco:Ah I see. Thanks for clarifying.
Adding on, there is also Liannex that is Malaysian-owned, though they have a plant in WDL area. Most CW buses use Liannex body kits, as do some SJE Scanias and Sentosa B7Rs.
Anyway, I read from an earlier thread that there are some Hicom MAN SL252s in Sydney.
Well, it is close enough. I can't exactly rememebr the exact location, but I know it is somewhere in the north.Originally posted by tintinspartan:Eh... Volgren do have a plant in Malaysia. Sme operators in Melbourne have actually had bodies built by Volgren Malaysia to ease pressure on its plants in Perth and Melbourne.Originally posted by iveco:Ah I see. Thanks for clarifying.

I see . The plant is both a assembly and a manufacturing plant ?Originally posted by Windy_hates_B10TLs:Volgren do have a plant in Malaysia. Sme operators in Melbourne have actually had bodies built by Volgren Malaysia to ease pressure on its plants in Perth and Melbourne.
The joystick only moves forward and backwards, and its the parking brake for goodness sake.Originally posted by alleggerita:So I'm thinking what will happen if the BC turns the joystick one full round..
Ahhh..I see..but seriously, the joystick has an additional button on top..orange colour if I'm not wrong..now what's THAT for?Originally posted by SBS9818A:The joystick only moves forward and backwards, and its the parking brake for goodness sake.
to release the handbrake?Originally posted by alleggerita:Ahhh..I see..but seriously, the joystick has an additional button on top..orange colour if I'm not wrong..now what's THAT for?
If the joystick has only 2 directions, forward and backward..then naturally either pushing forward or pulling backward is engaging the handbrake and vice versa is to release it..so the orange button is for what? I doubt it's to release the handbrake..Originally posted by QX5216J:to release the handbrake?
has it ever come across your mind that the red button is the safety release button? mr QX5216J has got it correct.Originally posted by alleggerita:Ahhh..I see..but seriously, the joystick has an additional button on top..orange colour if I'm not wrong..now what's THAT for?
Ya, i check from the website that you gave to me... Thanks !!!Originally posted by TWS4793:Some new Scanias are registered today. SBS 8053X to SBS 8056M are in the records.
I hope to see some based in CLE quite soon.Originally posted by TWS4793:Some new Scanias are registered today. SBS 8053X to SBS 8056M are in the records.
stop whining. you said this before and you are saying it again. Its very irritating. There are 500 units to be on the roads. You can practically find them in every single estate in Singapore by then.Originally posted by iveco:I hope to see some based in CLE quite soon.
Maybe minor improvement for the upcoming onesOriginally posted by Ferrari_RoXz:I am appaled by the thin seats.
I thought the seats on B9s are bad enough, but the KUB is worst. Its so thin that you can feel the bus's every cylinders moving (not really, but you get the idea)
The handle poles (especially around the WAB area) rattle like the poles aboard some mk2 and scania 113. Rego i took was 8040H. You can see the whole poles moving, not vibrating, but moving. Makes the whole bus sound like a construction site.
SBS8888D is worst. trust me. get a ride and u'll know what i mean.Originally posted by Ferrari_RoXz:I am appaled by the thin seats.

Cannot imagine in the future we got 500 buses having this problem..Originally posted by QX5216J:SBS8888D is worst. trust me. get a ride and u'll know what i mean.
Doubt so leh..it's not only the poles vibrating..EVERYTHING in the bus is vibrating..when I'm sitting at the back near the engine and when the bus accelerates, the seat back of the seat I'm sitting on just keeps vibrating..giving me a 'nice massage'..Originally posted by ^tamago^:I believe the only issue here is bad design of the pole. It should have an intermediate extension to stabilise it.
i shot a M trans bodywork coach in Hk and also a SC elite or soemthing singapore bodied coach in HK. but all blur. grrOriginally posted by QX5216J:hmm. aint sure if HK coaches had the MTrans body works.

The poles only serves to amplify the vibrations both visually and vocally..
