not Fuji, but Denso, i thinkOriginally posted by SBS BUSES LOVER:what is the A/C brand of the Scanias . i know they got 2 types of A/C .. is it Fuji ? or Sutrak Carrier ?
isnt it included alrd?Originally posted by ZYX2005:erm...what about 8138?
ZYX
where is your logic?Originally posted by brotherchen1982:Meaning these Services are going to use Scania K230UBs(WAB)
Denso is for the production K230UBs, Carrier Sutrak is for 8033D. Cool Air is the producer of the EDS, not the aircon.Originally posted by tintinspartan:And some say Cool Air.
Cool Air China made?Originally posted by Scania:Denso is for the production K230UBs, Carrier Sutrak is for 8033D. Cool Air is the producer of the EDS, not the aircon.
tt spartan guy tinks cool air is 4 aircon...vv funny yeah?Originally posted by Scania:Denso is for the production K230UBs, Carrier Sutrak is for 8033D. Cool Air is the producer of the EDS, not the aircon.
Cool Air is a Singaporean company (based in Defu) which has a JV factory in China that produces aircon and EDS, I do believe it has another JV in Thailand which produces glass windows for buses.Originally posted by carbikebus:Cool Air China made?
Other than EDS, it also manufactures air-con.Originally posted by SBS8043A:tt spartan guy tinks cool air is 4 aircon...vv funny yeah?![]()

8060A and 8061Y were consecutive buses on 174 today. 8061Y seems to have a faulty rear EDS. It was flashing non-stop.Originally posted by Oceane:As of today, 7 new Scanias have been registered according to One Motoring.
SBS 8060 A
SBS 8061 Y
Is 174 going to have a full Scania fleet.Originally posted by stooper:8060A and 8061Y were consecutive buses on 174 today. 8061Y seems to have a faulty rear EDS. It was flashing non-stop.

the thing thats bad is that the capacity of the K230 isnt adequately met for svc 174 as it has a demanding load..often see K230s opp park mall toward boon lay with ppl squashed to the max packed all the way to the door with more ppl outside waiting for the next one..i think all should perm 174e.. although im ain quite sure if 174e has a high load or not..Originally posted by Oceane:Is 174 going to have a full Scania fleet.![]()

Very likely the new gen of SDs are like that, not many seats availableOriginally posted by SBS9888Y:the thing thats bad is that the capacity of the K230 isnt adequately met for svc 174 as it has a demanding load..often see K230s opp park mall toward boon lay with ppl squashed to the max packed all the way to the door with more ppl outside waiting for the next one..i think all should perm 174e.. although im ain quite sure if 174e has a high load or not..
174e should leave it to the Mercs and maybe DM3500 because they have more seats. Otherwise, if Scanias operate, many people would have to stand all the way!Originally posted by SBS9888Y:the thing thats bad is that the capacity of the K230 isnt adequately met for svc 174 as it has a demanding load..often see K230s opp park mall toward boon lay with ppl squashed to the max packed all the way to the door with more ppl outside waiting for the next one..i think all should perm 174e.. although im ain quite sure if 174e has a high load or not..
It seems like making people not to climb the steps up for standing and cos over pack..Originally posted by stooper:174e should leave it to the Mercs and maybe DM3500 because they have more seats. Otherwise, if Scanias operate, many people would have to stand all the way!
BTW, isn't there supposed to be a standing area at the back of the bus to get people to move to the rear? I don't notice this at all.
