Eventually the merc will be retired. Unless DM3500 or the Volvo MK4s replace the Merc otherwise sooner or later new buses with less seats will be deployed on Svc 174.

There's always a trade off here and there.

+1. but the few seats on the K230UB is so that theres more standee area (when theres no PIW on board)so that the bus can fetch more people. but this wouldnt work well if people refuse too move in, then the front is overcrowded while the back got space.

I feel shouldn't get a whole fleet of WABs. WABs should be more of a bonus in the majority.

even the B9TLs and B10TLs didnt get ads so quickly excluding Together We Go Further ad by SBS Transit which was showcasing public buses now being able to accomodate PIWs

I seriously think the inferior Gemilang bodywork is to be blamed for the vibrating K230UBs..

I took the only L94UB in SG (SBS2888T) on Express 518 and the Volgren bodywork is totally void of vibrations at idle..damn Gemilang! Laughing

is it just me or is it that the window area at 2nd last row window seats are v poorly designed? de thing keeps obstructing and u can't rest ur elbow on de ledge. quite painful really when the bus hits bumps or makes a sharp turn...

when the last row left-most seat vacated i quickly change and sit there... my favourite seat when joyriding Laughing
