No. The engine vibration is normally felt during low engine revs. Once the bus speeds up, the vibration is gone. The engine will also vibrate if it is revving too fast, so it is always best to keep it in the green zone.Originally posted by chickenlittle2:does the vibration mean that the engine become more powerful? -

I'd rather that Service 5 also get these new Scanias. It passes by two medical facillities, one is Thomson Medical Centre, the other one is Changi General Hospital. -

Service 5's route involves passing by Changi General Hospital, which is at Simei.

auto gearbox must depend on the ECU too. the ECU needs to familiarise itself with the driving habits of the bus driver then it can change gears effectively. haiyah i dono how to put it into words lah.

Nothing wrong. But actually how and when the gearbox changes gear depends on how the gearbox is tuned. No such thing as the gearbox will "know what to do".
To add on, just look at the different variations of the ZF4s in SMRT and SBST. Some lock-up at 1st, others 2nd, some are tuned tight, others loose. -

I took the only L94UB in SG (SBS2888T) on Express 518 and the Volgren bodywork is totally void of vibrations at idle..damn Gemilang!
