Can have perm K230UBs on 179 but you'll see groups of 179 coming together. 1) 2 Bus services out of NTU, and both bring students to the same interchange. Need to have more services out to somewhere further.
2) 2 Internal Shuttle Services (one clockwise, one counter-clockwise) by Tong Tar Transport, with not so fantastic frequencies as compared to 179, 199 amd the NUS ones.
3) Students and school always unhappy with each other when it comes to whether they should pay to park when they drive to school.
4) No Train lines to NTU even though a branch line out of EWL would help situation (though quite expensive). -

If during selected hours of the day whereby students are dismissed from school, I'm sure LRT won't work. -

In actuality, those are not really Scania buses but Scania bus-chassi only since they use 3rd party made bus body ! Scania also produces complete 'real' (i.e. original design & bodied) buses but it seems the market here not yet 'arrived' to go for such grade of omnibus.Originally posted by ngjy22: -

My 63 BC friends say that the service will get K230 soon.Hopes to see SBST buy Volvo B9Ls or at least B7RLE with low profile tyres

They seem to take shocks better than a low profile tire , IMO . Well , it may not be true , but well , thats what i felt. Also , a high profile tire can help the bus chiong .
