i know what i'm saying, so don't even try to correct me.Originally posted by Oceane:You can't really say that. AMDEP and BRBP are under 1 group so it's buses are interchangeable. I guess what they are doing is send extra buses to replace other buses. But for what reason, I don't know.![]()
you creating new route group ah?Originally posted by Oceane:Well Service 60 definitely needs a few more. After that it may be given to St. Mikes Route Group buses.
I think theres a misundertanding..Originally posted by TIB1224Y:I was discussing with Scania luver yesterday about service 138 and that once there was a complain about it, when a passenger had to 'cram jam' with many other people late at night, the bus was leaky, hot and after that broke down along Mandai Road, making the pax wait along the road in rainy weather.
SBS Transit PR replied that 'sorry blah blah blah' and that new buses will be introduced to service 138 'first' when they arrive...
I suppose the grade from the exit of the Zoo cannot be handled by the Scania... Remeber the little climb that they have after leaving the bus bay at the loop stop?
Guess they had to eat their words cause somewhere along the route, Scanias cannot yet go and the fleet is now still Merc...
Better than Woodlands services, given first hand new buses then taken awayOriginally posted by SBS9818A:what's new.. bishan takes second hand buses again.![]()

Info from uOriginally posted by service_238:From choww since i havent left the house this morning:
Full scania fleet on S238 for this morning. There's still Duty 7P (272H is the perm) that is not in service yet. Some buses include SBS 8097 U and SBS 8098 S, amongst the perm scanias.. Do note there's only 7 buses running in the morning for Saturday.

This means full scania fleet todayFirst time ever since 14 Jan 08 (the day when scanias were introduced on 238 )

But only more than 50% fleet to be WAB is considered WAB service right? Means the extra K230s = BRBP SP?Originally posted by choww:Info from u: SBS8101R on 238 replacing SBS272M Duty 7P

there is a high hump at Sin Ming road. i think there might be a problem in clearing that hump for K230?Originally posted by bus555:How about svc 130? because it passes by Sing Ming estate, Mouth Avernia Hospital, Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital (Although no stop there)![]()
Better not be 161 or 168 having those K230s...Originally posted by lemon1974:today spotted either 8118 or 8119 on SLE (just after woodland ave 12 exit, towards city). EDS show Off Service.
i think it is on trial run.
Sv60 will get about 3 more new scania k230s very soon. (If no technical probs or EDS probs occurOriginally posted by Oceane:Well Service 60 definitely needs a few more. After that it may be given to St. Mikes Route Group buses.
Hmm, I see.Originally posted by sBs_boy:I think theres a misundertanding..
SBST only mentioned that they will be deploying newer buses on that route. They never mentioned that they will introduce the new bus first on that service.
Service 168 impossible. The only single deck is going off soon..Originally posted by Oceane:Better not be 161 or 168 having those K230s...
The Toa Payoh feeders have full-Scania fleet from 1994 to Early March 1999, when 238 got OAC Merc, it then became nearly full Scanias except for 2 (249B, br 232, 390A br 55 then br 238 then br 231W) until 390A (together with 276Y (am 158 ) to some then new depot (ahem) in the west) and most of the Scanias got transferred to bndep.Originally posted by SBS594D:last time also I think last time got full fleet of Scania N113 on 238 am I right, 231 also![]()
those spare scanias 8095 8096 8097 8098 8101 in brbp are due to be deployed on 60. S60 only needs 6 K230s so maybe the last one is for 63. No such thing as spare for them and if it is its a temporary thing.Originally posted by Oceane:But only more than 50% fleet to be WAB is considered WAB service right? Means the extra K230s = BRBP SP?
I dont remember theres a St Mikes Interchange on the Singapore Map.Originally posted by Oceane:Ok erm I mean... St Mikes INT routes. (124/125)
Its not like you dont know what he's trying to say, same goes for his "St Mikes Route Group"Originally posted by sBs_boy:I dont remember theres a St Mikes Interchange on the Singapore Map.
Yah think 168 is losing 0395L to 162.Originally posted by off_service:Service 168 impossible. The only single deck is going off soon..
Service 161.. better not.. bus cannot even get out of WRI..![]()
I'm not really bothered about his senseless replies anyway; if he has common sense he'd know I was referring to St. Mikes Terminal. Typo because I was in a hurry to finish my other stuffs.Originally posted by 566117:Its not like you dont know what he's trying to say, same goes for his "St Mikes Route Group"
Very detailedOriginally posted by Scania:The Toa Payoh feeders have full-Scania fleet from 1994 to Early March 1999, when 238 got OAC Merc, it then became nearly full Scanias except for 2 (249B, br 232, 390A br 55 then br 238 then br 231W) until 390A (together with 276Y (am 158 ) to some then new depot (ahem) in the west) and most of the Scanias got transferred to bndep.
112L then came in as perm 238 16E (new shift then), which got replaced by 201M within two months on 238.
Then the three Scanias on 232 (3645X, 3682M and 3700U) went to bndep.
Then an additional Scania, 3674L came is as perm 238 17S, which got replaced by 345G (am 100 then hg 100 then br 238 then hg 100), which in turn got replaced by 176C (am 70, replaced by ex-hg 100 535A on 70).
Then most of 238's Scanias (32J (to bn 39), 3665M (to bn 39), 3672S (to bn 39), 3697X (to am 57), 3722G (to am 57)) went and got replaced by Mercs (177A (am 82 then am 39 then br 238 ), 335K (am100, hg100, am 39 then br 238 ), 426G (am 103 (NBR), am 103/82? (SGN), hg 103/82??, am 39 then br 238 ), 3828K (am 158, hg 158, am 39 then br 238 ), 3913Y (am 39))
Then 3680T went to bndep and got replaced by 86D (am SP)
Then the weekend before 21 got B9TLs, the last 2 Scanias (3668E and 3693G) got transferred to bn 8 and replaced by 272H (am 133) and 517C (am 133). This marks the end of Scania N113CRBs having perm status on any Toa Payoh feeders.
