amdep seems to have this penchant of putting the Scanias on feeders
First was 238, then 232, now 268.
Even the trunks amdep put the Scanias on had ex-feeder sections in them.

Svcs 60 (ex 226, 385), 63 (ex 382), 232, 238, 268. So far only sv 63 is long haul CBD route. Wonder if sv 410 gets them next ![]()

They will complain more cos of lesser seatsAnd i dun think so cos if Scania were to be on CT8, then it should be CT8 crossover to 268 not the other way round
even if use MBO405 also less seats when compared to MK III or MK IV on CT18/CT28. CT8 should use MK IV instead to provide more seating capacity. I tot it is Sv 268 buses which crossover to CT8? 407/3817/3862 were buses on Sv268 before CT8 were introduced mah.
anyway, does anyone notice the fleet for CT8 today?
today got 6 K230 on Sv 268, plus i saw 293/423/436/477. 293/423/436 were still in service at 10pm with 8100/8119/8123. so there is chance that K230 might be doing CT8.

Good! but gotta bear with vibration for some while then it would become more solid.
board 8119R just now.. BC was driving quite fast.. does not encounter vibration when stop or moving leh.. the poles does not shake leh. The bus quite stable. but then the whole bus is very dark. only two sets of interior light were on. One at exit door and the other just behind BC seat. plus three more set at the front, which switch on,only when extrance door is open. The rest of light are off. 8100/8123 does not have this problem though.
I think the Scania K230Ub should have a new design like this:

I think they should put 2 more additional seat just behind the Driver seat...

Maybe let the bus travel few more days? Btw, today I took SBS 3708Z on Svc 30, the bus did not vibrate seriously at all. Is it true that the CAC does not vibrate more than the OAC one? This bus seems to have a new Air-Con unit.

The vibration on the Scania N113CRB OACs is more than a CAC or NAC.
SBS8102M SBS8103K and SBS8104H are perm 232

OK, the reason why SBST didn't put two additional pairs of seats behind the BC is because the space has been accomodated by the wheels. So, just treat it as an imaginary drawing plan...
.
In fact, if you like, you can add foldable seats (1 qty/space) at the PIW spaces.

SBST did consider foldable seats but they couldnt find a suitable supplier/contractor to do it or its not very cost effective/efficient to install them.
