Sooner or later NUS services will be Scania-ed
I hope this will solve the daily crunch problem.

so when will SBST declare Sv 100/174/123 etc as WAB services?
off topic slightly: Sv 76 B9TL does have its fair share of PIW boarding/alighting at AMK ave 4 and Ave 3. Wonder if Sv 268 BC drivng K230 will pick them up or not if these PIW flag for the bus along these bus stop.

Wait for 14 and 88 first.....
For the other K230UB services, wait for 14, 88 and 25 first.....
SV 268 K230 side EDS was showing as follow:
First line: AMK ST 64/62, Ave 4
Second line: AMK Ave 4/3, Ind Park 2
the scrolling speed can be controlled right? it seem like scrolling too fast.

actually they can declare all of these service (14/25/88, plus those K230 services) as WAB, without specially having to plan for the timetable. Sv 25 B9 were alway bunching. likewise for Sv 88, can come 3 buses almost together to the bus stop, and some time at timing like 9pm or 10 pm. Sv 76 B9 also alway being replaced by LO3x/other SP buses when they go for PM or brokedown. So even with the timetable, the PIW might not find it useful.

Looks like only the 1st 100 new Scania K230UBs + 1 demonstrator (SBS8033D) are out.
Wonder whether the next batch of new buses comes out only when SBST start deregistering its Scania N113 CRBs beginning June this year, and also how BNDEP will be affected ![]()

The dashboard for K230UB is really hight tech. Even the headlight not working. There would be the warning sign + message saying
"Head lamp malfunction" Saw it on SBS 8048L today.

Not the first bus with such a technology, The B9TLs gives out warning even if a cover is loose, the B9TLs should be the first city bus model in Singapore with such a technology.

Oh really, it is a warning sign or display words?

Depends on the fault, for example, if its a loose cover, it would just show the picture of a loose cover, if its chassis failure, then :"Chassis Failure" would appear.
The B9TL warning signs appear on the screen which usually displays the time.
B7Rs/LEs better, can toggle between functions. The ones from B7Rs/LEs can only be found on later batches of the Mk2 and Mk3s, means there are only 3 B7RLEs in Singapore having such a dash.

chassis failure? means the bus got to scrap? Really high-tech.

Means check the chassis for any fault, also used for demonstration.

I see, so what types of faults can chassis develop? Cracks and loose bolts?
when something gets rattled a bit too hard lo.
